There are several interrelated topics here.
I produced an Andoid/Mac IOS/Mac OS/X /Win application that demonstrates color blindness in real time. It’s great for showing families and friends what a colorblind person sees.
I created video editing tools which sharpen images, remove snow, fix lighting issues, etc. I used old family videos and 8mm film to perfect it.
For the UWaterloo Engineering Student Machine Shop, I created a machine vision system which counted colored cards placed in a rack. The goal was to display the number of used cards onto a web page. This allows students to see how many spots are available, all while avoiding privacy issues of displaying people’s faces.
Also for the ESMS I created a system to watch crowds and give an estimate of how busy a waiting room is.
